We are thrilled to announce that our project has received approval from the Manhattan Beach Planning Commisson.
The Commission heard presentations from the staff of the City Community Development Department, Friends Board Member Julie Justus McGinity and Architect Louie Tomaro, who provided a complete overview of the building design. Neighborhood concerns were addressed regarding environmental, noise, parking, trees and traffic studies as part of the overall presentation.
We can now move on to the Final Design Phase for approval in spring of 2024. Groundbreaking is currently projected to be Spring of 2025. As many have experienced, even as homeowners, it takes a long time to get all the pieces in place to approve new construction, but we are well on our way, thanks to you!
